Late Night Shooting Outside Bar in Arlington, Texas Leaves One Dead, One Hospitalized

Arlington, Texas - A shooting at a bar early Sunday morning in East Arlington left a 33 year-old man dead and another hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
According to police, the incident occurred after 1 AM during a fight outside a bar on Great Southwest Parkway, near Division Street. Officers found the two men who were shot upon arrival; the 33 year-old manwas pronounced dead and the other was transported to a local hospital.
Witnesses told officers that prior to the shooting, the man was involved in a physical altercation with another group at the bar. They said after he got away, he then went to his vehicle, retrieved what they believed to be a handgun, walked back towards the bar, and began shooting.
It appears someone in the crowd returned fire, striking the man. Investigators are currently working to identify that individual.
