City of Arlington Ranked #4 Best U.S. City for Remote Workers, Three Other DFW Cities in Top 10
Arlington, Texas - Arlington, Texas recently ranked #4 on a list of best places in the U.S. for remote workers, curated by Austin-based outdoor services provider, LawnStarter.
LawnStarter examined data for 194 of the biggest U.S. cities and covered 20 factors to construct its criteria for the list, including remote job opportunities, internet connectivity, cost of living, and availability of personal workspace.
The list also include three other DFW cities in its top 10: Frisco (No. 1), Dallas (No. 3), and Plano (No. 8). There were 7 total Texas cities in the top 20. According to Jeff Herman, editor in chief at LawnStarter, Texas’ lack of an income tax and solid quality of life boosted all of the Texas cities in the top 20.
DFW’s high rankings on the list seems to contrast to another report ranking Dallas as the U.S. city with the unhappiest workers and Texas as the state with the unhappiest workers.
