Passport Services Now Available at Arlington Public Library Downtown Location


Arlington, Texas - Arlington Public Library now offering passport services at George W. Hawkes Downtown Library located at 100 South Center St., Arlington, TX, 76010.


The Downtown location was approved as an acceptance facility for passport applications, becoming one of the few libraries in North Texas that offers this service.


This new service is expected to provide easy access and multiple services to Arlington residents. Obtaining certificates, permits, and other important documents from City Hall, or simply starting the process of obtaining your passport are now readily accessible through the Library.


Documentation required for applications, such as birth certificates, are obtainable at the Vital Records office in Arlington’s City Hall, located at 101 W. Abram St. 1st Floor, Arlington, TX, 76010.





HOW IT WORKS


The Passport Acceptance Facility Center operating hours are:

  • Monday - Wednesday: Closed

  • Thursday: 12 – 9 p.m.

  • Friday: 12 – 6p.m.

  • Saturday: 12 – 6p.m.

  • Sunday: 2 – 6p.m.

**Walk-ins only. First come, first served**


The Passport Acceptance Facility is located on the first floor of the Downtown Library. All documentation and photos will be handled by trained passport agents. The online application can be accessed here.
