Police Investigating after Woman Found Shot to Death at Apartment Complex in Arlington, Texas



Arlington, Texas - Arlington Police Department are investigating an apparent homicide after a woman was found shot to death in an apartment complex.


Officers responded to an apartment complex on Nandina Drive after a resident reported seeing a neighbor’s door open.


As officers approached the apartment to do a welfare check, they could see the front door was damaged as if someone had forced their way inside. The officers then entered the apartment to check for anyone who needed assistance.

During their search, they found an unresponsive adult female with an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene and her death is being investigated as a homicide.

No one else was inside the apartment and there were no earlier reports of shots fired at the complex.

Detectives have spent the morning canvassing the area, looking for potential witnesses and surveillance video. The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
