UT-Arlington Enrolls Largest Freshman Class Ever, Sets New Record

Arlington, Texas - For the fifth consecutive year, The University of Texas at Arlington enrolled its largest freshman class ever this fall.
Total enrollment for the fall is 41,515, with its
freshman class totaling 4,172 students, a 9.2% increase compared to fall 2020.
According the university’s press release, enrollment also grew among new graduate students and new international students.

Enrollment totals include 3,186 new graduate students, up 47% from the previous fall, and 4,582 new international students, which is an 18.4% increase.
Last month, the university announced it had achieved Texas Tier One designation, which permits it to qualify for millions of research dollars each year. It was only the fourth college in the state to qualify.
