WATCH: Arlington Martin Students Protest Against Sexualization of Girls in School Dress Codes
Updated: Sep 1, 2021
Arlington, Texas - A group of Arlington Martin students led a protest on Friday, August 27 at Martin High School campus to speak out against the sexualization of girls in schools.
The students insist that schools’ dress codes sexualize girls by limiting what they can wear on campus and fail to address the harassment girls face on a daily basis from male students and staff alike.

The students seemingly started a non-profit organization called “Our Future, Our Voice to be Heard” (@ourfutureourvoicetobeheard) in order to organize their efforts. A recent Instagram post of theirs suggested that more protests will be held in the near future.
